We are proud to have partnered with Dublin Jewellery, a renowned jewellery retailer based in Dublin, Ireland, to provide a comprehensive, high-end display cabinet and store renovation solution. With over 20 years of experience in jewellery and watch restoration, Dublin Jewellery has built a reputation for excellence. This collaboration aimed to revamp their historic store, blending classic craftsmanship with modern retail aesthetics to create a sophisticated shopping environment.
The Partnership Opportunity
The partnership was initiated following the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show in September 2024, where Dublin Jewellery representatives visited our booth. After experiencing the quality of Sundo’s designs and craftsmanship, they decided to move forward with a partnership, signing the contract and paying the design fee on-site.

Sundo’s Approach to Store Design
Material & Color Coordination
The primary color scheme features a matte black (or deep gray) base for the cabinets, establishing a modern and sophisticated atmosphere. Titanium brushed stainless steel (or brass) accents are incorporated into the cabinet frames, shelf edges, and door trims, creating a striking contrast with the dark cabinetry and adding a touch of luxury. The flooring consists of light gray marble-patterned ceramic tiles that reflect soft light and help to expand the sense of space, while the walls are finished in a beige-taupe tone, complemented by classical line-style wainscoting to infuse a timeless elegance into the space.
Space Layout & Customer Flow
The central U-shaped ground display cabinets guide customers naturally toward the store’s heart, maximizing space usage and offering a 360-degree view of the merchandise. Tall, embedded wall-mounted showcases serve as focal points, displaying key or high-end items, creating visual depth and drawing attention to premium products. The customer journey is designed to be smooth and uninterrupted, with the store layout allowing shoppers to explore in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction, ensuring a non-congested and fluid shopping experience that leads them back to the entrance or towards side sections.
Lighting Design
All display cabinets are equipped with concealed LED strip lights, with a color temperature of 6500K cold white, which highlight each item’s details and enhance its value against the dark backdrop. In addition to key lighting, recessed ceiling spotlights provide uniform illumination, and vertical golden wall sconces not only add lighting but also serve as decorative elements, enhancing the store’s depth and reinforcing its luxurious atmosphere.
Functionality & Details
The floor display cabinets are designed with modular units that offer flexible combinations and easy layout adjustments, allowing for quick reconfiguration as needed. To ensure safety and practicality, tempered glass covers are used to protect the merchandise, while drawers at the bottom of the cabinets provide ample storage for tools and spare items. The overall design also focuses on creating an immersive experience, enveloping customers in a sensory-rich environment from the moment they enter, offering a luxurious, intimate shopping experience.
